I'm about to start doing a bit of prep for the winter and intend to give the car a thorough going over with waxoyl. Are there any areas that I should steer clear of treating ?

Tyres are naturally pretty rust-proof so avoid them if you can

When Joolz used to do the waxoyl thing, I'm sure he took great delight in sending us along the Chesterfield bypass in plumes of smoke!!

If you have not already rubbed the chassis down.
Try doing it with the garage/kitchen door open.

The wife loved the rusty brown deposits all over the kitchen...

Well Simon, I bet you're glad you asked .

What a helpful and informative bunch the Chimeara crowd are!!

Actually, having come from a year or two of Porsche ownership, and forums, I have to say it's refreshing to find such a good sense of humour, and a sense of the ridiculous, on this forum. Don't get me wrong - there's some great guys in the Porsche 'community', but overall the TVR lot have the edge in the laughs stakes. Actually, more than just an edge, probably a whole side and some of the top too!
