My year 2000 Chimaera has some of it’s silver under bonnet sheilding coming adrift.

What’s a good adhesive to glue it back with, bearing in mind the temps?

I've used Trim fix contact spray in the past and not had an issue with it letting go. I did take the bonnet off, lay it down, and completely removed the insulation so I could give everything a good clean. Once i had glued it down i left it for an hour with suitable weights on it to ensure it stuck firmly.

Thanks. Does it seem to have a good initial tackiness, because I was planning more of a bodgers approach, I must be honest. hehe

Did someone call for a bodger?

I have used Unibond No More Nails double sided mounting tape to good effect on the drooping edges of my Chimaera under bonnet insulation.
It’s worked for the last year or two and the car is fairly well used.
The rolls I have used are 19mm wide by 1.5m.
I think I used two rolls with more than one strip applied where possible.
Quick and easy.
Ideal for a bodger
