Are they a much of a muchness?

I'm fairly centrally placed for:

Doncaster, Leeds, Harrogate, York, and Sheffield

My AUC (G31 530d) is still under warranty, and it's due for it's first service in my ownership, and also an MOT (it has the MOT guarantee thing as well).

I would stay clear of Bmw Stratstone Leeds. Terrible dealership. Incompetent service team and even worse technicians. The workshop in leeds are a good indy.

Ive found Stratstones Doncaster to be be better priced that other MINI dealers, may need a phone call direct to garage, maybe hourly labour rate cheaper than Sheffield Sytner. but only used them for warranty work on a BMW

I second this, i've tried to persevere with them for the last few years and I never have a good experience to the point I have ruled out ever going there again for service or sales which is a shame in some respects because they are my local.

I'm going to be trying Wakefield for my next annual service but outside of Servicing I have used the Workshop and B&M Care and can happily recommend both.

The OH always had good service from Sandal Wakefield when her E87 120d was new enough to justify main dealer servicing. She moved to B&M Care in Pudsey when the car got older and they were always good too. She's just replaced it with an F20 118i and we might try Cramag in Yeadon with that one as it's easier to get to than B&M.

Stratstone Leeds truly awful

Stratstone Doncaster not quiet as bad but service staff lie and routinely try it on upselling

Vertu York as Stratstone Doncaster...lying is second nature to the service staff.

Sandal best of a bad bunch of dealers. Make sure you come across as someone who knows about cars / servicing otherwise they will try and lift your leg.

Another vote for BMW workshop in Leeds if you want a good Indy

I have tried Stratstone Leeds and had a terrible experience. Car not ready, waiting about and then not cleaned even though that’s what I was waiting for apparently, plus all the up selling. I have now used Hull twice and they are a different level. No hesitation in recommending them.

bought a Z4M at Harrogate once upon a time.
Salesman knew fk all about the car (3 litre twin turbo apparently). Car was poorly prepped and rectified for an AUC and I never went back after purchase
