Do these cars have the "big fuse" like Chimaeras?

connected the wrong way around if using croc clips? Positive is towards the front of the car.

Not like the Tuscan then, where there are crocodile clips on the slave battery end, and a special plug that plugs into the adapter in the sill?

..as above, reversed polarity or "touched" leads that have made a short & blown a big fuse?

You could be right, I may have connected them incorrectly....any thoughts on how goosed the car may be?

Sounds right, I guess not that serious, just a pain in the butt?

Hopefully! I'm not familiar with the fuse layout of T350. Sorry.

You have been helpful though...always a worry when these things happen....due to pick up a 'spare' car for winter next week, so not the end of the world...thanks for your help.

Possibly either the two croc clips touched together (shorting out both batteries) or you connected them the wrong way round (giving you a 24V 1000A short circuit, very briefly). If so it may be that you have damaged the wiring to the battery, it would be sensible to check it over.
