I have a VH Vantage. The outside end of the black plastic insert in my tail light (see picture) is ‘sticking out’ a bit (i.e. the last couple of centimetres feel like they need gluing down, so that it’s flush with the rest of the light.

Does anyone know (a) how they fit and/or (b) how I could make it flush?

Thanks,
Stuart

They are just held on with double sided tape.

Use a knife & Gently ! work your way in from the flat end. Remove the insert & reseat with new tape

As above, two clips and mostly double sided tape.

Thank you both - that's clear.

I would suggest a heat gun (gently) and some fishing wire to avoid the potential of the insert breaking.

As others have said, its just double sided sticky tape.
