So with the imminent release of details regarding the new Turbo, just wondering who’s getting one and what’s their thoughts are on it going forward?

I’ve had a deposit for one at my local OPC for more than 3 years now, but it’s been total radio silence from them. (Am I surprised lol)

I've got a slot for one.

Surprised you've put a deposit down, because a deposit is only required when the car is physically available.

I will likely go for one.. subject to it not being priced ridiculously!

If you look at price hikes for 992.2 GTS with T-Hybrid tech, there is no doubt the new Turbo/Turbo S with T-Hybrid tech will take a similar % price jump. Porsche will charge handsomely for the performance increase and tech development cost.

I have heard rumours of a wingless Turbo with 2WD, a bit like a Turbo S touring - but I can’t work out where that fits in the current range, as it muddies the water between Turbo and GTS

Is everyone expecting this to be quicker off the line than the equivalent Ferrari/Lambo (296/Tem)?

They normally are, so wondering if the delay in releasing details is down to some performance tuning.

I’m pretty sure it’s going to be £200k otr with a few basic options.

So far not a lot of takers on here, I presume final spec and price might see a few more pop up.

Any of you going to trade up from the .1version?

£200k minimum I'd say.

Never had a Turbo S, looking forward to it.

The GT3 with a decent spec is now £200K so I reckon it’ll be nearer to £220K base and with a good spec being £250K
Having just sold my Gen 1 992 turboS and on the brink of getting a Touring, I might leave it 12 months…

Hmmm £250k will be an interesting figure, would make someone trading in their 992.1 model, a six figure upgrade!!

Given current turbo s were easily £200k without going mad on options it must be £250k ish I would imagine.

The issue to me is they are great cars. They are reliable cars. They are fast cars. The add daily drivers and track cars combined. But .... they lack a sense of occasion - and to be clear the cars with a sense of occasion don't have the reliability etc. - but when you are on £250k territory you have lots of great options.

On list for a 992.2 Turbo (rumour is it's non-hybrid), looking like 560-600bhp. Also rumour of a Turbo Touring model..

We will know next Sunday what the story is.

I really don't want an S - away to much power and indeed ££££
