I'm considering upgrading from my Pbase.com site to a more professional looking personal site.
I don't have the time to build my own or maintain it, so I'm looking for a all in one package.
I noticed an advert in Photography Monthly for Amazing Internet website services. The ease of uploads and professional looking layout looks very impressive. Something like £250 a year for domain name, hosting, webspace services and email. I thought at first glance that was quite reasonable ?

Any thoughts or better recomendations ?

cheers

For £250 p/a i'd expect to have the site designed and maintained too. For just hosting it's very expensive.

Looks pricey to me. I pay about £40 a year for hosting and domain name. £210 more to add a site template is a bit steep.

If you look at someone like Network Solutions, who will be by no means the cheapest - they'll do you a template package and 5GB of storage for less than half that price.

Do you want to be able to sell pics (both prints and licenced use) too?

If so, I use www.theimagefile.com - very well built, easy to do and excellent service (backed up by photobox for printing).

£25/month for 5 Gig, and I have my own domain name, which I stealth redirect for free using www.mydomain.com.
