Hi all.

Just setting my TPS and this time did it by voltage with a multi meter. Setting it to 0.32v as numerous posts have mentioned I.e between 0.32-0.34v. RG is showing a reading of 4% absolute and 0% corrected. Advice please

I'll check my database but frommemory that sounds spot on.

Hmm. Not really sure on this info.

Typically a throttle pot that is adjusted correctly will go from 5% to 97% corrected range. It should not drop below 2% minimum or the ECU may throw a fault code saying the T.P. is out of range.

My Rover Gauge shows corrected range as 0% to 97% and 4% absolute. To get the figures above would need the voltage to be at to approx 0.65 volts.

I was under the impression the absolute setting was the one to watch, as long as the percentages match the recommended i would just leave it alone and move on.

If absolute is the one to take note of then all is good with my TPS nice and smooth through the range as well.

Perhaps absolute is what the Tps is set to and corrected what the Ecu sees?
