Not the most sexy of cars but two days after buying this E220 AMG 120kmiler privately (who nicked the AMG logos off of the calipers!) I drove across Europe.

Things to do - annoying rattle from the front wheel (not the spring). Bizarrely the tyre was changed there by Halfords and they didn't fit a XL tyre as well...and overcharged me..

A/C needs a regas.

Excellent! There's not much that will effortlessly eat the miles like an E Class Benz.

I've got one of them with the 5.5. Wafty. Plus mine's an estate; recently used to pick up a huge Victorian chest of drawers from SE London. Handy.

Also like the colour of yours.

I ran the estate version, 13 plate, from pre-reg with 91 miles on it, through to just under 140k miles over 5 years.

In that time it had routine servicing, tyres, and brakes. The only thing that failed was a pipe union in the air suspension.

Truly brilliant at what they do.

Since 2013 I've covered 90k in a couple of E Classes with very few problems between them. They're pretty solid.
