Based on the true story of a mother who took on the establishment over the "double jeopardy" law following the murder of her daughter.

Just watched the first of the four episodes and I thought it was rather good.

Now watched all 4 episodes and it holds your attention all the way through. Sheridan Smith plays these types of characters so well, well worth watching.

What an impressive woman Ann Ming is, I wouldn't want to get on her wrong side smile
A nice touch at the end too.
Only slight negative for me was Sheridan's accent, wasn't very authentic to my ears

Really enjoyed that and a nice touch at the end with the real Ann

It was good. My wife used to work with the husband.

The accents were dick van dyke levels of awful biggrin. They did however get the 'Boro Haircut' down to a T though - there's a reason Bob Mortimer specialised in the feather cut.

Good series, really enjoyed it.
Did a little reading up on Ann Ming, what a spectacular human being, nice to see the little cameo at the end

Been watching this, the first two episodes are pretty harrowing, and the way the body was found under the bath made my skin crawl as I didn't know much about the case beforehand

Sheridan is really good in it I thought, her accent might not have been spot on to the area, but it didn't irk me in any way.
