Loo flush identifying

My cousin, who lives 200 miles away so I can't pop round and help him, has a broken flush, searching finds lots of mechanical ones with a square shaft but no success in finding one this shape.

The cross shaped bit in the middle of the lever seems to have snapped off.

Any ideas? TIA

Never seen one so don’t know if it is possible to swop bits or if he wold need to swop the unit.
