Guten Morgen biggrin

I have been a wonderful Father and Husband and bought flights, festival tickets etc for my darling wife and one of our wonderful daughters as a surprise as they both love their music, and it's exactly their top bands that are playing this year hippy

They're on direct Lufthansa flights from Germany so that's fine, what I'm really after are tips for their safety.

I've pre-booked private transfers with a man with a sign from the airport to the hotel and also for the return.

They're booked into the Fiesta Inn Insurgentes Viaducto in the city which looks to be a big modern and hopefully safe hotel?

They'll be getting Taxis to and from the Festival.

Have I missed anything, does anyone know that hotel and if it's okay?

Any tips would be very welcome and help me sleep better.

I’ve visited to Mexico City with my wife for the last couple of years and we will be there again in November to see Guns n Roses.

My wife is basically terrified of everything and she can’t find any reason to not keep going back to Mexico City.

There is just a ridiculous amount of traffic which means getting anywhere in a car takes ages. We haven’t used public transport there so can’t comment on what that’s like. We walk a lot and even after countless margaritas we haven’t managed to stumble into any dangerous situations or places.

If you have any specific questions I’ll try to help but generally, Mexico City is as safe as any big western city.
