Classic F1 wheel query
Discussion
Morning all,
I co-own a 1964 F1 car and we are trying to figure what type of wheels it used back in period. I'm unable to upload a picture as I've just joined the forum, can I forward a picture to another member to upload to this thread?
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks.

what is it??
BRM? Cooper Climax?? Lotus?? Ferrari?? Honda? Porsche?? I don't think there where loads of entrants in 64, but these do seem to be the main protagonists. I am sure there are some historians that could narrow the search down...

The easiest thing, surely, is to make contact with other owners of similar cars and ask them. And you could also contact major restorers of such cars: Rod Jolley of Coopers, for instance, and Classic Team Lotus of, er, Lotus. A trip to Goodwood next weekend for the Revival and a chat to owners there would also be beneficial. Any period F1 restorer would probably help, even if they don't know the car or even the marque that well. In this specialised area, those in the know are very helpful.
