Is it still registered as a commercial? If so, you probably need to double check what speed limits you need to adhere to... eg: the limits for a van on dual carriageways is 60mph, not 70mph.

Is there anything to look out for when buying a disco thats been converted form commercial to a 5 seater? The things that come to mind are obviusly just the overall quality of it, things like rear AC and speakers I imagine may be one to look at, although that said there won't be more than two people and a dog in it most of the time anyway.

Cars not for me, my dad is looking at theres one at Cleveland Car Centre (if anyone has dealt with them?) that he quite likes the look at. Is a 2020 HSE listed at £19k with 133,000 miles on the clock which to me seems pretty leggy for its age, has just had a major service and new belts changed though apparently.

Any other disadvantages with having a commercial conversion?

Tbh you want anything labelled commercial to be leggy for the year, usually means it’s actually been looked after. It’s the ones with barely any miles that have sat idling for 3 years and getting absolutely battered you want to watch for.

Doesn't seem worth the hassle to save a small amount of £
