Sad video, which he’s put out on his personal channel, because it sounds like he’s been forced out from RMT. He was paying his cameraman and editor as much as himself, which seems generous. Yet relations between Danny and his crew has become untenable.

A response from RMT channel:

Hmmm. When I'm bored I watch his videos. Who knows what the truth is? But it's pretty brave for the two non-front-men (people?) to fall out with the face of the channel. I suspect Danny holds 90% of the cards here.

You edited your post and added the second video after I'd posted my reply but the same thing stands... there will be at least two sides to the story but the cameraman and editor are left in a weak position here. I hear Gregg may be available ;-)

Isn’t his wife some fame hungry social media wannabe?

I think she may have had some input. Wait for the pair of them to be producing their own channel soon with her as the side kick.

Maybe a click bait video
Regardless his 5 minutes of fame maybe on the slide.
I used to watch his videos especially if local to me, but now they just seem repetitive

I imagine in the early days those editing and filming were do more than their fair share given the small audience

However as the money rolled in danny likely feels he deserves the majority of it.
As someone else posted his girlfriend doesn't seem the usual fit, so likely has encouraged him to drop his old team and likely friends.

I dropped off viewing this channel. Not sure why. Perhaps I was watching too many different channels - dunno, can't remember.

I certainly think that, surely he could have filmed that channel without a cameraman and an editor.

He should try to lose weight - a lot of weight.

Possibly. His parents were lovely though - his dad especially.

Rate my heart attack more like. I like Beard Meets Food. I appreciate they are different agendas but Adam Moran doesn’t look like he is about to explode.

Yep, I watch Beard Meets Food all the time. Adam seems quite a likeable guy! Often can't believe just how much he can put away, and how quickly! Releases a new video most Sunday evenings. But you can see he exercises, and he has 'gap' days! Sure I heard him once explaining how he'd eaten nothing but natural yoghurt for a couple of days before and after his latest 'meal'!

The local aspect and gentle nature of the videos used to appeal, him not having the generic afflicted influencer voice and mandatory food wiggling for the camera while gurning like a loon issue was nice too, it just got too similar and too positive even when he was faced with overpriced swill.

I went from actively trying to plot every video location on a Google Maps overlay to just not bothing to watch.

I suspect his wife has been a big factor in this outcome, she's been fame-hungry for years and the whole "Mr and Mrs Yorkshire" thing has always wound me up a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if she's been pushing for a bigger share for Danny and winding the team up despite his understandably protective statement in the video above.

Hopefully this is the reset that sees him properly focus on his health, in my view him monetising a pursuit of healthier local food options (not always easy to find) in conjunction with a collaboration with a PT and insights into strokes, diabetes, gout etc could be infinitely more impactful but a slightly tougher sell to the masses I guess.

"Skate my weight-away" - he can have that for free.
