To blow or not to blow
Discussion
It is an impressive bit of kit, but like anything in life nothing is for free. ( and I don't mean the purchase price)
The character if the engine is changed by the charger -some will prefer it, its very, very smooth, but different. I prefer the original character, but each to their own.

The chap who bought the supercharger will, I believe, be taking a ttip to Warrinton. The importatnce of getting it fitted properly and properly mapped on the RR was discussed. It is going on a 993 engined SC I think
That chap is me!
I've been speaking to Robin at 9M. He recently supercharged a 993 engined 3.2 Supersport.
Ideally I would like to keep my engine lid without the spoiler - However, I'm concerned that the nose of the supercharger may jut out too much and I may need a turbo spoiler. A small price to pay for 330BHP and similar torque though!
Edited to add that insurance with Asset Trust for the finished article is £900 for 3,000 miles per annum. Bargain.

[quote=BliarOut]Do they do superchargers for the Boxster S? Or alternatively, what's the best way to get the power output up to 911 levels? [quote]
No, the Boxster S is a bit of a special case because there is just not enough room to fit a supercharger large enough to supply enough air within the engine bay. The ideal size is the Eaton 90 as fitted to the 964/993 kit, but you can only fit a 63 and this will just not keep up with the demand of the 3.2 engine.
Th best policy would be to fit a pair of cams, headers, 200 cell cats and free flow silencer, then follow up with a live remap, typically giving around 290-300bhp. Budget price is approximately £4k+VAT.
