Lots of plot twists in this one….

Interestingly I sold this guy 2 cars after he’d had his legs removed, came across as a smart normal guy….. bizarre!

He didn't do it himself though, which the title is trying to imply.

One assumes he won't be appealing the sentence; he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

The freezing method of injuring his legs sounds horrible. But the word "horrible" does seem to sum him up.

Nominative determinism? rofl It would appear that the insurance claim caught him out, if he had just stuck to getting his jollies from not having legs any more and not been greedy he might still have a (very weird) life.

You first have to be comfortable with getting absolutely legless

He wont be hopping as he lost both legs. Why would he hop?

Just his arms to go and he will be like the black knight with merely a flesh wound.

From article, '...possessing extreme pornography...'

"...sold this guy 2 cars..."

At a guess, an old Escort and a Fiesta, then it transpired he was expecting a couple of top shelf mags?

He was caught out because he had exchanged messages with Marius Gustavson the "EunuchMaker" about how to go about achieving the damage required for amputation. Gustavson was found and prosecuted, presumably they trawled his computers and found the messages from Hopper and investigated what he had done.

Yeah look, in all seriousness he's not in trouble for cutting his own legs off per se, he is in trouble for the fraudulent insurance claim. He conjured up a method to having this costly procedure performed and went ahead with it but without having to foot the bill.
