Actually, the Sea Sucker lost no pressure in an hour's drive! No marks or movement in the roof or rear window, so this is a great backup for me!

Brave man ... I have often wondered about this. I have an E bike Whyte mountain bike which weighs around 25kg and wondered if this option might work but never had the balls to try it.

The rack is rated for that! What could possibly go wrong??? I'd take the battery out though.

It was last summer so I dont recall the reason exactly but I think I found the rear sucker was going to be on the rear glass and from a bit of research online I think the recommendations was to secure to the front windscreen in preference as it is stronger and better fixed. Dont know about flex. Dont know how true that is, but it was 100% squeaky bum time I agree!

On a motorway, I quickly drop out of the slipstream, when loaded bike racks are ahead of me.

I have never heard of bikes becoming flying debris, but presumably it must happen on rare occasions.

That was the official AML definition of getting golf clubs (2 sets) into the boot of a DB11 when it was under development, as two sets of clubs in the boot/trunk was one of the design targets.

I have sea sucker roof bars, and a pretty big roof box. Decided to take the Rapide on a 1200 mile road trip a feww weeks back rather than the wifes Jag Epace whoch was the original plan.

Rails on, suckers pumped, roof box on and done. No issues, maybe about 40kg in the roof box.

Not sure if that's achievable in the 11 but both VH and second gen Vantages don't fit one bag without removing the driver, 3 & 5 woods. I do have a fold flat trolley that also fits on top of the fuel tank, it all goes in neatly.

Having looked again I don't think I expressed myself well in my earlier post. So, to be clear, to get two bags of clubs in a DB11 it was deemed acceptable by AML as part of the packaging sign-off to remove the drivers from the bags and put them in separately. I can't remember the brand of clubs and bags used

Don’t ride much now after being helicoptered off a rocky slope in Pila, Italy.

Looks fine going to a ride but afterwards putting the bike back on and getting in the car must be a nightmare - unless you just ride on dry tarmac?
