There's a few appearing now on the "used" market. Approx £30k over list.

How long do you think they'll stay overs? Looks like the 992RS' still are.

But heaven only knows how the 992RS is staying over if another 200 are scheduled to be supplied this year ... ??

There are 42 on Autotrader and look at the mileages of so many of them ... barely used let alone run-in. Plus how many more in the OPC network ??

I guess the overs will disappear over time, but I am still being proven wrong on the GT2RS. The cheapest one in Germany is listed at 347k Euros with 44k km on the clock for a now 7-year old car [and most are at c. 400k or more], which is still (well) above list [from memory a new car with Weissach and a few additional options had a list price of c. 325-330k, list price before options was c. 285k]. I don't really get it as from what I gather a GT2RS is not exactly a rare car.

I am not sure the 992 RS is over list ? Not sure a dealer pays list any more ? I think it s definitely a good comparable in terms of £££ though because it is hard to believe that both cars will be similar prices in 5 years time.

I think there’s a decent chance the Touring will be available around list towards end of production .like other recent GT cars have been despite big initial premiums. The waiting list will disappear when premiums do, they re expensive cars.

When will end of production be?

Looking at the 992.1 tourings they are as low as £160k.

Thinking .2 will be stronger residual as the second gen is always held up by the first lot but more to the point I think the rear seats have huge appeal. Especially for all the cool dads.

1 owner car . He took it.

I'd take a Touring over a Winged car all day long.

In my opinion you would be throwing money away paying overs in the current market

Sounds about right given normal markup.

It's the new touring with rear seats I'm specifically talking about.

Never has there been a GT car with rear seats before.

There's some on autotrader at around £20k over list currently.

Where will the market be in 18-24 months? Will they hold strong or follow the previous 992.1 touring curve. Inevitably if it proves to be a success Porsche will make it an option in the next generation.

I walked into my dealer yesterday to drop my 4RS off for a service item will explore more on another thread.

Anyway my salesman came down and asked me if I was happy with the car or if I fancied a change either 992.2 GT3 WP or 992 3RS that were incoming available. At list no games.

I said, no I m happy at the current spend level and love my car as it is now configured.

But I passed the details onto a few people and it seems like there have been some nibbles.

Interesting times.

.2 Touring do seem harder to come by though.

Not the first I've heard of RS at list. Been going on for 6 months +

Doesn't appear to have shifted used prices yet which is odd.

Opc will do their best to keep new allocations under their hat, if news travels to fast they could be devaluing their used GT stock.
