Best way to sell an M3

Anyone got any suggestions on best way to sell an M3, Privately or back to dealer (especially if you have any experience of selling one).

Also I know there are glasses/parker guides about but they dont seem to give realistic values. Anyone got a realistic idea of what my car would be worth if I sold private or direct to dealer?

my car is in as new condition, Carbon Black, 19" alloys, manual, June 2005 05 plate and has done 2600 miles

loads of used m3s about now and dont sell well without sat nav

Why are you selling after only 4 months if you don't mind me asking?

As Dave said, loads of cars about now so private buyers will try to negotiate well & dealers will just outright take the pi$$.

I'd personally stick it on Autotrader & Ebay and if it doesn't sell and you really need the money then try the trade.

dont really need the money. Circumstances changed since i got it and to be honest I never really use it (as you can see by the mileage) looks like I am stuck with it from the replies.

There a nice motor just a few about thats all and all you will get is "Has it got Sat Nav"

Keep it for a bit longer and try and use it so at resale u won't feel so bad

Colleague at work was offered £25K against an X5 and £26K on an XC90 for his 2 year old M3 six months ago. He got £28K on a private sale.
Go for a private sale, but price it to sell based on adverts on Autotrader etc.
