DB9 Over Winter

I may soon be in a position to buy a 2013/14 low mileage DB9, alongside the daily family car. The DB9 would need to be used locally by my wife if I’m away with work etc and would live on the drive. I would love to be able to tuck one away over winter but it isn’t practical for us. The question is I guess, is this practical? What are they like over winter etc. My wife thinks we should get a new shape M4 and while I like them, they don’t have the beauty or V12 engine! I would get the DB8 ceramic coated and under sealed etc.

If you get your way and go the ceramic coating route I can recommend Gyeon Infinite - providing of course you get the DB properly detailed / clay barred / machine polished first.
My new Dark Horse has to live outside as have run of garages but the beading is impressive - albeit only done 3 months ago.

I had a 2014 DB9 and for the first couple of years it was garaged. No issues. Moved house and it spent a winter outside due to no garage. The result was paint bubbling around the usual places and rear light condensation. Maybe coincidence? The car will be fine outside but cosmetics may suffer, and the rear light condensation is infuriating as they are expensive to replace and the DIY fix is a bit hit and miss.huntsen said:

Is the Carcoon available with a rigid frame so it holds its shape, and can be driven in and out of like a garage? I think that would be of great benefit if it will often be used as a "pop to the shops" car. Also how well do they handle snow?https://www.carcoon.com/product-range/vehicle/outd...
The garage "tents" Machine Mart (and probably others) sell are pretty solid, and can be used like this, though lack the outright controlled environment of a Carcoon.
Assuming OP is ok with how it would look on the drive, I'd recommend something like that. Maybe a Carcoon inside a garage tent is the optimum approach.
Also, if the car's going to be used in winter, obviously tyre choice needs to be considered.
