Just a FYI, since this was something I didn't know :

It seems that the timing of the Michelin cashback offers varies between tyre retailers. I need tyres now - and Costco currently have the Michelin cashback deal that started in August, and ends at in a couple of weeks time.

There is a local tyre dealer that I sometimes use - but they told me that the Michelin deal for them doesn't start until October - they currently have a similar offer on motorcycle tyres, but the car offer doesn't start until the motorcycle one ends.

So if you need Michelin's and your normal retailer doesn't have the offer on - it might be worth calling a couple of others. They might.

Seems one of my local ish chains has the CC2s in the Michelin offer, and they are exactly £100 dearer for a set of 4 than Blackcircles without the offer….

Yes, obviously it depends on the price before discount.

In my case, black circles are about £15 per tyre more expensive than Costco and my local place before any discount is applied.

I notice Costco have dropped out of the list though - they only worked with the PH code, none of the other cash back offers qualified with Costco. I got £100 back with last year s offer. There is now an other selection - perhaps that would work.

With that and £100 off deal at Costco and £48 discount for free fitting, it made a set of tyres almost reasonable.
