VW Phaeton, any real time experience/owners?

I’m laying up my BMW M4 for winter in the next 6-8 weeks depending on the weather, which leaves me looking for a winter smoker……. Something comfy, 4wd, under 5k etc

I’m a huge VW fan for my sins, and I’ve owned every VW from a lupo to a Touareg but never a Phaeton, despite always liking the look of them. Obvious choice would be a Touareg but we have an old Cayenne on the fleet too.

Looking at 3.0 V6 diesels, does anyone have any real world ownership experience of one?
I could buy a really nice small car for the budget but where’s the fun and experience in that
