MK7 Golf R - R- performance bits

I've noticed a MK7 Golf R for sale with R-Performance engine upgrades, styling and suspension

Can anyone elaborate on exactly what these things are, I assume they are genuine VAG extras? Google is not being too helpful. It looks to have a heftier spoiler on the rear.

Could it be RacingLine stuff?

They're not factory fitted but they have very close ties to VW Motorsport, Audi Sport & Seat Sport, etc and supply performance parts for most VAG group cars such as software remaps, big brake kits, brake pads, alloy wheels, induction kits, etc.

I don't think so, the way it's worded seems to make it sound like an optional extra. There was something offered on mk7.5 I think that raised the speed limiter, but this is a pre-facelift one.

Could you link to the car or share the info? It's unlikely they're Volkswagen parts.

Sounds like someone stuck a chinese kit on it with the R stickers and trying to ask more money for it.

Looks like an aftermarket rear spoiler, but otherwise standard spec (no mention of actual engine mods) and just the usual dealer puff from someone who doesn't really know the cars, probably with a bit of auto generated AI thrown in for good measure!

Looks to be pretty low spec.

It is that one. I'm not actually interested in buying that particular car I don't think, I was just curious about the wording of the description and whether it had some hitherto unheard of OE upgrades to engine or suspension. I think it's correct to say it's just AI or dealer generated waffle.

The car linked is just a bog standard example with zero factory options, tragic looking aftermarket rear spoiler & dealer written b*llocks.

Only the facelift 7.5R's were available with a factory 'performance pack' option which I think comprised 19" Speilberg alloys, Clubsport spec front brakes, a raised speed limiter & small strip along top edge of rear spoiler. The Akrapovic exhaust was a separate 3 grand option.
