Only just spotted this. Very surprising given how long he's been with Honda.

Wonder what's going on?

No idea but it begs the question on their future involvement in BSB.
As long as i can remember, it’s either been Neil Tuxworth or Beltran in charge since the Honda Britain days, makes you wonder if there will be big changes coming.

Strange.

It’s either because Honda are finished with BSB or he’s been a naughty boy.

As it is with immediate effect and only mentions him, i suspect he's been up to something and been caught out

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but with only three rounds left that s the only thing that makes sense.

He s been a Honda man for years so he s not going to jump so close to the end of the season. Equally Honda isn t going to sack him for anything performance or racing related at this point.

Just to add his picture is still on the Honda racing website as team manager now. Whatever happened was quick and not planned.

Be interesting to see where Honda go next season, are they still going to be there as a factory team? Will they pull out as a factory team and support the smaller teams?
Where does that leave Tommy and Andy?

Could be interesting few weeks ahead

Yes, it's hard to come up with a plausible 'nothing to see here' scenario when it's so sudden and so near the end of the season.

Updated report says that he has left not only Honda Racing UK but Honda employment full stop.

Shades of Horner at RBR? Something has happened and whatever it is has long reaching implications clearly.

That doesn't sound good, does it.

It sure doesn't

I think the suggestion is that he is taking the full blame for their downturn in form over the last few years and i have to wonder if he just said, you know what, the money isn't worth it so take your job and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.
Despite Deano doing the double in Superstock at the TT and Kennedy winning the Supersport title last season, this year in BSB isn't looking good and it's been a lean few years for Honda in the UK.
I wonder if he has something else lined up?

It just seems bizarre that, after all these years he'd be going at this stage of the season with only 3 rounds to go, if it's all due to recent performance or another offer.

In not much more than a month he could have quietly rounded out his time with Honda as the end of a very long and, generally, successful era, whoever's decision it is for him to leave.

I'm sure there must be more to it?

He was at Honda during the electronics debacle that nearly killed McGuinness and Martin and nothing happened then.

This is going to be misconduct the way it s happened.

What happened to Guy Martins Electronics? Johns was Kit Ecu so not sure what he would have anything to do with that!

Harv has been at that team for at least 20 years, so this must be a disciplinary matter of some sort.
