The BBC are reporting that Robert Redford has died at 89. Great actor who starred in some fantastic films.

I watched 'The Natural' the other night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

RIP Sundance.....

I watched The Natural a few weeks ago - one of my favourite films.

A talented man who will be missed.

Jeremiah Johnson is well worth finding, seems to be less watched than his other great movies.

BBC News described him as having weapons grade good looks. Can't argue with that. But so much more than just a pretty face, a brilliant actor.

To quote a line from one of his films, I think from memory in a scene with Barbara Streisand

Her: Did you always get just what you wanted, just when you wanted it?
Him: Even before I knew what to do with it.

legendary actor, I actually thought his last film , the old man and the gun was really good.

technically, his last role was Avengers : End game.

my most favourite film of his however was all the presidents men.

Sad news. When I was a kid in the 70s, he was what I wanted to look like when I grew up. Unfortunately that didn't happen.

I was ugly enough as a kid to not even consider that I might grow up to look like Robert Redford. And I was right. No ugly duckling ending for me. Ugly kid, ugly adult. Actually, I'm 63 now and have aged ok, so I've climbed up the rankings from well below average looks to bang average. Lots of guys my age look a lot worse, but plenty still look a lot better.
