Griff remote key fob,

Having recently become a smiling Griffith owner I have a question, one of my remote key fobs works. Unfortunately the other doen't. I have been told they are supplied by META, however with investigation I have been told that TVR used a speacial software so you can't get a new fob. Has anyone else experienced this or have any good ideas. Cheers

Speak to Carl at Car & Bike Installations for all things Meta alarm, he'll sort you out.

Carl will tell you this anyway, but first try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes then try again. This resets the alarm and sorted mine out.

Hve you replaced the battery in the blipper?

if you are talking about the black plastic tvr fob with the round push button in the middle of one side and one fob works and the other doesn't then the fob mechanism is probably duff.
The plastic push buttons are notorious for transferring too much finger pressure on the micro switch and the switch fails.
Carl will sort you out - I suspect he will suggest you have a Meta fob which has a rubber push button which softens the load on the micro switch when you press it.

editted to say: definitely check the batteries first (2 in each fob) like rich B says.

If you do need a new fob then it may be worth getting the key conversion done at the same time. Carl can put the remote button actually on the key, meaning you no longer have a tacky looking vauxhall key and don't need to carry around 2 units.
