Griffith 500 Warning Lamp Panel

Has anyone upgraded the Bulbs in the Warning Lamp strip.

Mine like most are very dim, a couple of times I left the lights on as cannot see the warning lights.

Has anyone used LED's to brighten them up.

there must be a way of replacing bulbs in the coloured housings.

Did a search on pistonheads and google but nothing came up.

thoughts ???
