BT digital line ATA to use DECT phone
Discussion
Bit of a random one but my wife's business has just had to have the changeover to digital voice with BT.
This means her current DECT phone won't work and we need to use BTs digital handset.
All fine but that doesn't have built in answerphone so we are in 1571, this means if someone calls when the phone is in use it goes straight to voicemail rather than just showing engaged messing out usual sorry we are closed message comes up.
Only way we can get a handset with answerphone on the base is to use a DECT phone but that needs an ATA adapter according to BT at a cost of over £100.
Does anyone know of a cheaper option to enable a DECT phone to be used with digital line?
Apologies if this is obvious but I'd you don't know you have to ask

BT digital voice adaptor, £20.
I switched to digital voice adaptor few months ago, and BT supplied me with a basic handset. I've got this plugged into the router in the garage.
I bought a digital voice adaptor, which I've plugged in under the stairs. My DECT base station plugs into this.
The DV adaptor connects via wifi, simple to set up using the WPS button.
All seems to work OK. Only issue is, if I'm in the garage and pick up the BT handset to answer a call, the DECT phones carry on ringing.
We can make 2 simultaneous calls though, one on the BT handset, another on the DECT.
