You should try jet2 s a321 s, give me Ryanair any day.
Go on, what’s bad about Jet2’s new aircraft? I’ve never particularly liked the geriatric 737s they operate (last one I was on was apparently 23 years old at the time) so naturally assumed that newer would equal better. If it’s the seats, spare a thought for the poor sods travelling to the Falklands when Air Tanker send one of the A330s they usually hire to Jet2

They re usually cheap though. YGWYPF!
I have flown return, Stansted to Kerry for 2p back in the day, Last summer managed £ 19.98, even shortish notice it is never more than £100, Often parking costs me more. Treat them as a bus service , get on, sit down, get off lol.
We have flown with them a few times because they fly from Bournemouth and other than early flights it's always been good. But you do get what you pay for and BA Club to Europe seems a lot more pleasant but even that can be delayed. We were due to fly back from Gibraltar to Heathrow in early July and the incoming flight could not land so within an hour they had us back at our hotel, all complimentary apart from booze for two nights as that was the earliest they could get us out. I dont think Ryanair or easyJet would have done that.
On a 500 miler Friday, stopped to eat and had a look at flights to Kerry for the next day, could not believe it TBH, 90 odd quid return, Saturday until Tuesday, 138 with extra case for the girlfriend.
As there is no choice of carrier, it was very last minute, I was expecting far more, added a mid size car to the booking for 50 quid.
She was very happy, so was I, brilliant trip, decent weather and you really cannot complain at the price, and we are both 6 footers and comfortable with the leg room on standard seats.

Just flown with Jet2 for the first time and was pretty impressed. Seats were as per any other budget airline but food and drink really well priced and cabin crew really helpful.
We just flew with Jet2 for the first time, Manchester to Kos. Seats were unbearably hard, and I'm not skinny. Legroom was worse than easyJet too - I'm 6' and could only just get my knees in, and seat back in front seemed right in my face - helped to take the magazines etc out of the slot at the top of the seat. Guy opposite was a bit taller and he had to sit sideways. Everything else was good - good cabin crew out and back.

Yes, their customer service is the worse ever. But actually flying on a Ryanair isn't that bad, in my opinion better than jet2! For my my work I fly every other week, so have used many different airlines
Customer service is awful granted, I double check everything when booking for that reason, I only really use them on the Kerry flight and do so regularly, fares have always been cheap but this was the first time doing it last minute, around 14 hours before flying, it was a busy but not full flight each way and I was amazed at the fare TBH.
