Bandit 600

My lady is getting into Biking and has seen a nice condition Bandit 600 for sale locally.

I'm going to give it a test ride on Friday for general riding but with only 5000 miles, it should be fairly fresh.

Just hoping someone may have owned one before and knows of specific places to look for problems ?

I am ok donding crash damage, horrid add on's and such like, but wasnt sure about any historical Bandit woes ?

Depending on the year of bandit, the older ones (mine was 98) the rear foot peg bracket is welded on to the frame, if they get dropped a tell take sign is the bracket is creased. I think they changed this around the 2001 model.
