I have a vine, Vitis Brandt, which produces tightly-packed bunches of small black grapes with a very intense sweet flavour and tannin (and very big pips).

There are more than I can eat just as grapes. Last year I tried making grape gin but that was hopeless, so I'm inviting ideas for tasty things to make with them before they go off. Not too complicated please as I'm a fairly simple bear in the kitchen.

Just been doing this myself. try juice, jam etc. I boiled 5 kg and after cooling stuck them in the freezer for later processing.

Prevaricate a while, the birds will eat them, it saves buying bird food.

Gin is a non- starter with grapes, try vodka in same quantities, but ready in a week!
