That’s way above my patience, but top work

I got someone to cry on the phone once by launching a verbal attack after a few minutes asking how they’d feel if it was a relative of theirs who was being scammed. She tried to claim it was just a job.

I’ve kept pressing the number key whilst talking to create beeps before now, and then after a few minutes confirmed to an imaginary friend the call trace was complete and asked if the local police were being contacted. They soon hang up.

My default now is to never speak first, genuine callers will always speak asking if anybody is there, but the latest iPhone software has a call filtering feature (any number not in your address book) you can turn on, I had a call from somebody valid who got through fairly easily (so not a massive inconvenience) and they actually complemented me on my receptionist! I must call myself to hear what happens. Time will tell if that kills the spam, but probably will call unwanted bot calls.

Skip to 20:30 to hear the scum of the earth have a complete mental breakdown.

The guy is Kitboga, in a nutshell he uses his god tier level troll powers to get scammers to question all their life choices.

I have had a few of these in the past, they usually just a get a "fk off" reply and then block their number/report as spam. And in the last half an hour I have had one on Telegram!

The "salary" offered was also £8. This one is a "group" not a one to one type of setup. I am just monitoring what's happening at the mo. Deciding if/how to play it biggrin

What is the actual scam? Anyone know? I am guessing I get "paid" £8 for something but can't release the payment until a threshold is reached and then I have to pay and admin fee to get it released? At which point no payment is released.

YouTuber Pierogi (Scammer Payback) is another who is worth a watch - some of his videos are very funny.

It's mental currently this recruitment scam

As someone who's been in that game since 1999 (recently just took VR from Meta too); it amazes me how many of us in recruitment get these scams and how many people fall for them too...

It's absolutely st that they prey on the desperate (ie those out of work etc); but even still, common sense prevails etc
