Other manufacturers forums run these and they always seem long lived and popular. So as the Bentley forum appears a little quiet i thought i would start this.
Just pist a pic of your Bentley, new, old it doesn't matter they're just nice to see.

Dark Sapphire Arnage parked in Harrogate England today whilst we went for lunch during a few days in the Knaresborough area.

Is this the "allo allo" variation?

Well the allo allo remark has unfortunately passed me by, don't think I've ever watched sn episode....my bad frown

That GTC looks lovely. I love the brighter vibrant colours on the more modern ranges. It's the same with Astons, for years they were black, black or a million different shades of grey n silver but now some lovely colours being seen on the roads.

Beautiful dark sapphire Arnage Longy0000!!
Here are photos, one at sunset, one at the petrol station and a couple of interior shots.... This car will be 10 years old in April. It's covered just 20,000 miles and still drives, looks like new, both inside and out.

Oh lush.
I was so tempted by the mulsanne my decision really could have gone either way. Sharing the same basic engine (which is what caught my attention in the first place), had a good spec mulsanne been offered for sale relatively local to me then I could easily have it on my drive now but there werent any and then I got the heads up for the arnage, the rest as they say is history.
I'm.still getting to grips with it but I'm starting to really like the roly poly ride / handling, the sport button does calm it down a lot but for now I prefer roly poly smile
I wanted more of a classic car type feel but I kept getting my head turned by the mulsannes electric blinds, modern sat nav and far superior refinement which is completely at odds with a modern classic.
Hey ho a man who doesn't really know what he wants !!!
Anyway you have a lovely machine there and I'm off for some fettling with mine on Monday. A specialist is going to rust proof and report back on a few other minor issues for ne

Thank you Longy00000, although a Final Series Arnage T is a great car to own and in my opinion, what you have is the perfect, most elegant colour combination for that model.

Furthermore, I've never bought a car from Derek Mowat, but I have been aware of his business for a very long time and regularly look at his stock. From what I can tell, he won't sell rubbish, everything he retails appears to be top class and carefully selected. I think if it doesn't make the grade, he won't touch it, so I'm sure you've got a lovely example of a rare car there.

Talking of rarity, did you know that according to the website "howmanyleft.co.uk" your car is one of just 21 left in the UK - See below:

I knew there werent many as I understand only 27 rhd versions of the final series were ever built. Derek does seem to only want the best examples, that said they will still come with niggles as they are old cars generally speaking.
I'm getting some touch up oaint sorted and once I get rhe paintwork 100% it will be off for a ceramic coating which will just make the blue pop a little more. The paint is at 90% at the minute but some ejit has burnt through the paint on a couple of edges with a machine polisher at some point, small patches and nothing i cant deal with. So i will get that sorted do a very very light polish myself and then get it coated.

Parked up here and it makes the VW T Roc behind look very short

I notice a Camargue ( i think) in the background of the latter pic and I can't remember the last time I saw one on the roads, probably 40 years ago, God I'm old frown

Very good spot. I think the best thing you can say about the Camargue is that they're Marmite. They crop up at RREC rallies quite regularly and there's even one factory Bentley Camargue. I've also seen one that had had a Bentley grille swap.

Umm really not sure about a Bentley grilled camargue.
I'm sure they were the worlds most expensive production car in their day if my top Trumps memory is working.

My car is in the worksop for a few days. They're investigating an intermittent hesitancy from the steering and once that's resolved a full underside rust proofing exercise in readiness for winter.
A gratuitous pic from a stop off at the supermarket yesterday.

Now I just need to sort an oversized rear number plate for when she gets back from rhe workshop and I can get one of my regs assigned. (A std sized plate is just too small and looks awkward!)

That reminds me, need to get a front plate holder for mine - they appear to be hard to get!

Any pics of your car Brett?

I don't think my front plate looks bad at normal size but the rear just looks lost when its the std size. It could of course just be me.

My bad i hadn't linked the two posts. Very nice, and as a fellow black car owner i understand the work needed to keep them.gleaming.
When I got the Arnage black was definitely OFF the list, I couldn't cope with 2 big cars in black. My Ocd would have kicked into overtime rofl
