Any good suggestions for a long weekend break in the UK (bottom half ideally) for a 2 year old?

We have done all the obvious Legoland etc a bit too much now and want something a little different

I do not really have any ideas or preferences apart from it not being another theme park for children

Thanks all!

Do you mean a weekend break "for" a 2 year old or "with" a 2 year old.

Bit of a tough one for the former smile

For the latter - try Sheringham in Norfolk, go on the train, walk around the town, go on the beach at low tide.

Have you done Peppa Pig World at Paultons? It’s very well done.

Bluestone is a good shout, instead of hiring you a bike like Center Parcs they will hire you a golf buggy. Lots to do, not quite as grievously money-grabbing as CP and Folly Farm is close by.

Appreciate the ideas

Unfortunately have done most of the obvious stuff - Peppa Pig, Legoland and CP

We did a few off season bargain visits whilst we could which was good on the one hand but nos we have nothing original left to do

AirBnB / hotel in Bath?
Decent place for an adult weekend, and to keep the 2 year old busy, maybe a visit to the Bath City Farm (Great place for feeding goats etc. + a playground,) and short drive to Avon Adventure park which is technically in Bristol, but it will keep your 2 year old entertained for the whole day (I actually enjoyed the pig race hehe )

Head of mid-Norfolk and you've got Bewilderwood, the broads, Bressingham, Banham zoo and Norwich in easy reach, and from Norwich you can take the train up to Cromer or drive to Great Yarmouth for coastal stuff.

When my daughter was young we took her to Longleat in early October time and she loved it. They had a lantern fesitval on and that was excellent, plus we did the drive through safari and she was amazed and laughed so hard at the monkeys ripping pieces off the car (hire car thankfully) and the lions walking around/between the cars on the road!

I would absolutely recommend it to anyone with the young child!
