Nick Scali furniture - any experience?
Discussion
we're currently in the process of looking at (among many other things) looking at changing our existing 'La-Z-Boy' (please don't judge me #council-life!!) and are getting quite despondant at the (lack of) quality of various options out there. Put quite bluntly there was nothing we liked in Sofology and 95% of what was on offer at DFS was crap.
That brings us on to the afore-mentioned 'Nick Scali', we sat on one of their sofas (311cm) and it felt lovely (albeit in leather, which for 'cat reasons' we can no longer have <grrrr> ) with electric headrests, recliner and lumbar support... very tempting, but are they a reasonable quality item? I know they're not (what to us is) premium like Himola, but they're not priced as such either, and they are more pleasing to look at than Ercol/Cintique/G-Plan (all very good but I get a whiff of 'granddad furniture')
Any suggestions/thoughts?

Nick Scali is an Australian brand which has been in the Australasian market since the 1960’s, and in the UK since 2024. It has a good reputation down here for being stylish, but not style over substance. Some of the designs can be a bit “out-there” and perhaps appealing to the “bling” sector of the taste spectrum, but hey, that’s aspirational Australian for you.
If near enough to you, get it hand made, to your spec, for not much more than Next etc.

We have 3 of theirs. Fab customer service.
Dunno if they do electric stuff though.
