2002 Porsche 911 Turbo Manual (996)
Discussion
Hello and apologies for the delay in response, completely missed the question posted.
Yes, spoiler is disabled and that relates to left mechanism seeping slightly. Spoiler still operates as intended - goes up and down, but stops short few mm below intended place and generates the dash light. Given that car is only used for long trips and as a weekend drive and not track, I have opted to have spoiler disabled as I do not need 'added performance' element which also eliminates the dash light. Additionally, for me personally, this is a visual aspect as well as I dislike the looks with upper part raised. Given this is not car critical element and myself not being handy enough to attempt self-repair I have opted not to do this job. However, stating it clear for any potential buyer if they would be attending to this as there numerous options available from OPC to after-market ones.
Any more questions, happy to answer.
Regards
L
