Hey,

I`m currently thinking of installing a 4-point harness in my Alpine with the Sabelt "Bucket seats" (not the comfort one). I have seen that quite often in some posts and videos, but I really don`t know how to install the lap belt. (The shoulder straps are pretty easy and clear...)

I know that there are some CNC Parts from MP-Rezeau, but I really don´t think, that everybody is using those CNC parts when they install their 4-point harnesses...

I`m looking forward to your answers!

Cheers
Gottfried

I did use the MPR kit because of exactly that. It is a shame because the shoulder mounting points are easily usable without a kit.

At least the MPR kit is very neatly done, if expensive!

The shoulder straps just need some M10 eye bolts and screw into the factory captive nuts.

For the lap belts there are a couple of options.

Make an L shape bracket that can bolt to the seat runner (as pictured)

The MPR billet bracket.

Or a Schroth Harness End Fitting Kit that you can bolt to the floor through the existing frame bolts accessed from under the car.

Has anyone fitted a 4-point harness on a comfort seat? I'm sick of sliding around on track days...

There was a suggestion about 18 months ago that base cars prior to then did not have a pre-tapped rear cockpit panel ready for a harness unlike GT and/or sport
