I’ve had a Lexus RX for 10 years now and it’s got nearly 150k on it now. Still tight as a drum, no rattles, funny noises or, what I hate most of all, rust.

When it gets too old it will be replaced with a newish RX or possibly NX.

RX is the pick followed by the 300de.

Why not a Lexus RZ? (revised one now with a half decent range).

I was very impressed by our EQC in terms of driving, fit & finish.

I was not so impressed by the range. It struggled to do much more than 220 miles between charges, which if you plan to do 100K miles is 454 times you need to leave it plugged in. biglaugh

The diesel/hybrid Mercedes sounds like the way to go for me if you don't regularly need to visit big cities, as I suspect more restrictions are coming and I wouldn't put it past them to exclude hybrids.

I can vouch for the Lexus NX. Went for a NX as it had the space needed but was slightly smaller than the Cayenne it replaced and easier for the mrs to hustle it around and parking etc. RX is probably a similar size to the Cayenne, which would have been fine for me. RX all have good specs.
