I did a search and found the precise poster I had for sale on eBay.... 40 quid is a bit steep for some brief nostalgia though

What a great question !

I had an auto sport centre spread picture of a bmw CSL Batmobile at the ‘Ring with all 4 wheels off the ground and then an art picture of an Alfa Sprint coupe from the 60’s (in red of course !).

That was a long time ago and I’m currently driving a fiesta and a Tesla - shame!

I had a black Countach poster as well, but mine had a lady laid across the rear spoiler in stockings and suspenders though! The best of both worlds for me. cloud9

Not quite the same thing, but I think this is the exact picture I had as a poster when I was a kid:

Something along the lines of this...

Loved that it went up against BMW and Porsche at he time!

Edited to add it may have been the RS500.

70's kid here. Back then you could buy posters of some of the fabulous images in Car Magazine so every birthday or Christmas I'd get one. The 2 that stand out were a white Countach side on, in front of a crumbling farmhouse in the scorching Italian sun - can't find a copy though. The other was the Countach and Testarossa on Pendine sands - still a marvelous picture

The other one etched in memory was this one

I was into cars and bikes as a 15yo, so this feature which ran in both Autocar and Performance Bikes was manna from heaven for me in 1987.

Numerous newspaper cutting photos of Saab 96s participating in various rallies.
Strange obsession by comparison with Lambos and other supercars/sports cars!

Maybe I'm weird. I didn't have any posters of cars, just one of Debby Harry!
