Good afternoon,

I'm looking for recommendations for a good nearby machine shop to Lytham St Annes - or surrounding areas - that can do some "proper jobs".

First is my 911 heads - I'd like new seats and guides fitted once I've finished porting them, plus a skim. I'd like 5 or 3 angle cutting on the seats, pref 5 but 3 will do the job. I appreciate this might seem like noddy work, but you'd be surprised who doesn't offer 3 or 5 angle cutting, at least from my experience of getting Rover heads modified in the North East!

Second is my RV8 stuff.... I have some modified and welded rover heads that will want the same doing. I also have an unmachined custom crank I want machining to some custom specs (5.5 with chevy rods and custom pistons) to make a death sled more deathly.

The PH hivemind was great at finding some suspension geo specialists last time - hoping the same works out for the machining!

Many thanks

I would have thought engine head work was better at an engine specialist than a general machine shop?

Pretty easy and inexpensive to box up and ship a head anywhere within the UK so I wouldn't limit yourself to a specific location.
