Anyone got an VW ID7 Tourer?

Hey all

We are thinking of changing our 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS.

The ID7 Tourer looks like a great family car replacement.

Has anyone got one and how are they for everyday family duties? What's the build quality like?

We test drove one recently.

Very nice, comfy, quiet, well put together, big boot, loads of leg room.

The GTX we sat in seemed abit more 'special' inside than the base spec model we drove.

I felt it was very much an electric Passat which isn't a bad thing....

A very good car (but a bit boring) much like the rest of the VW range.

I want one and will have one if the finances work out.

I've got one, had it a year and nothing fell off or broken. The odd system glitch that cures itself but nothing that had stopped driving.

Comfy, fast and plenty of space inside. Well equipped.

I've been a serial car changer and usually a year in I'd be looking around at what to get next - at the moment I have no idea what would make me want to change, it just works so well for us as a family.

Any specific questions just shout.

I’ve got one. My first electric car, admittedly I only use it for work so it stays at work and gets charged at work.

Feels quite rapid (apparently 265hp equivalent) really really comfy, and feels really solid. Much more solid than a 2016 7 series I had.

So much space, plenty of tech and touch wood no problems at all. In fact, when the lease ends I’ll get another!

I've got one, also had it a year, also had no issues with it. Some of the tech has a few very minor quirks but then I imagine a lot of current cars also do. I have two large dogs (GSD/GSDx) and they both fit in the back fine.

I came from a FFRR 5.0 Autobiography and I've no regrets. Charge at home, costs buttons to run. Not sure what I'll replace it with when the time comes but I wouldn't currently say no to another.

Yes, very good car. So much space inside (though downside is it's fairly long for parking). Did a European holiday in the summer and it was the perfect car with the space, comfort and long range (not once did we need to charge before we were already long overdue a break for us anyway) and very quick charging. Without DCC I think the ride is only average (though notably better on the continent) and the stereo is average.. Also a few little trim chirrups, which have needed fixing with silicon spray or a judicious application of foam.
