Just putting some much needed time and effort into optimising savings and investments for the next few years.

I started on ISAs in 2023, but at the time went cash, so I now have 1x2023 ISA and 2x2024, including my wife, ISAs (All were full £20k in)

I'm not wanting to move these investments to have the full current amounts switched to ETFs, but it seems I can't do that with current providers, I need to move them to another provider then convert, which seems odd to me..and also seems a faff...

The 2x2024 ISA are trading 212 ISA accounts, I had maybe naively thought that I can just buy ETFs with the cash, I'm not sure if this is something about having to open the ISA as an ETF / shares investment, not a cash ISA.

Any views / experience welcomed...

Did you open Cash ISAs or Stocks & Shares ISAs? You can keep cash in a S&S ISA, but not the other way round.
