5g Router for abroad
Discussion
I have found an Airbnb but there is always a catch....no broadband!
I'm on Three with "unlimited" roaming and cheapish unlimited per day at 7 quid so could tether my phone but I'll be charging it every five minutes.
I was thinking about whether buying a 4/5g router and getting a sim over there (Eclerc do PAYG options) for the week would work.
I need a router though thats not breaking the bank, has anyone found one for 20/30 quid thats decent enough?

I have used gl.inet travel routers for several years. Very easy to set up and very reliable. They update their range frequently, support vpns and previous gens are sold off quite cheaply a la Richer Sounds. I can’t recall what the 5g ones cost, though, but they are a worthwhile investment.
I have one of these mifi's:

A few years old so look on ebay, it's 4g but fast enough.
Battery so you can take it around with you, or just plug in via USB.
A cheap Lebara SIM works fine (30gb limit on roaming) for most use cases.
