Ring doorbell charging
Discussion
I have just taken the plunge into the Ring doorbell world. All fitted and working and I used the Ring plug in charging cable.
The doorbell has a permanent solid white ring and the device menu shows it to be hardwired.
I know it's just a trickle charger, but even overnight and today with no use, it didn't seem to maintain it's charge. The permanent power doesn't even seem to hold it at its current power level never mind charge it.
It that 'just how it is'
(And don't get me started trying to get it to connect to the Chime pro Wi-Fi booster the other side of the wall)
