Can anybody help me? I need to put some new tyres on my Niva and want to go a bit wider. The standard tyres are 175/80 x 16". The wheel width is 5J. Can I go wider or do I need wider wheels to start? Is there a 'table' that shows wheel/tyre combos that are OK?

There used to be a tyre/wheel size chart on the Yokohama website - even gives rolling radius so you can avoid screwing up the gearing.

I'm not going to push my luck put spending work time looking at that site as well but I'm sure a quick Google search will find it.
