Side light and tail light out
Discussion
Hi all,
I have had a problem with the fuse box getting damp and all sorts of wierd and wonderful events going on in the car (ignition staying on, doors refusing to lock/open, headlights coming on in the middle of the night, alarm going off to mention a few). The dealer recently replaced the fuse box under warranty which has fixed all said problems and even fashioned a shield to go over the fuse box since they couldn't find where water was leaking on to it. Top marks for service there.
Unfortunately I now have two lights not working, the front-right side-light and the rear-right tail light. The brake light is working, and both bulbs are new and fuses 40 and 41 are ok. All other lights are working perfectly (except for the obligatory oil-pressure sensor fault!). I was going to spend this evening fiddling around with the connectors coming into the fuse box to see if a multi-plug was not in properly or a wire was not properly connected, can anyone tell me where else might be a place to look?

Thanks, I am going to take the bonnet off at the weekend and have a dig around in there. The thing is, it seems a bit coincidental that the tail light appears to be out at the same time as the side light, and I can't see how a rusty connector on the side light would cause the tail light to go out.
