Anyone know a good source for decent quality velcro straps? I.e. sort of like the Tudor FXD one that goes under the watch and loops back on itself?

I only seem to be able to find ones with springbars for smart watches.

The type of strap you are referring to is a NATO strap, they aren't usually Velcro but have the design layout you are looking for, It seems if you search Velcro NATO strap some do come up.

Nah NATO is different.

He's after a hook/loop strap, such as the one used on a Pelagos FXD.

eBay, Ali Express, Amazon. There's usually several options about.

I bought this one, it's decent, just make sure you get the right length for you.

Best ones I’ve come across are from Tactical Frog. Velcro is strong and doesn’t come undone if you catch it on something, and are incredibly comfortable. I think they do them in 20 and 22mm widths

I’ve had a couple of the Zuludiver Lunar ones. They don’t them any more but there are some new old stock ones on eBay by the looks of it.

Just stumbled across these https://nickmankeydesigns.com/shop/orion-cg-sp-art... no direct experience but considering getting one, they look really good.

Gasgasbones had a good rep, but not sure they’re making them any more.

I’ve got a few hemsut ones that are pretty decent, can get them from Amazon.

Yeah, a lot of his straps are good, but I'm not paying that for a strip of fabric.

I think if you enquire and he's not 'shut' it takes a week or two to get them. Best to ask, but there are others probably easier to get hold of.

I had the bog standard one, works well.

Thanks for that. Getting fed up with the strap retainer loop on Garmin straps breaking - will give that a try
