I just noticed that the radiator on our Ford KA Mk2 seems to have fallen apart a bit at the bottom. Not sure what’s caused it or if it’s just age related deterioration. You can see it through the front plastic grille. Apologies for the filthy car!

Is this an issue to worry about?

Bottom row of cooling fins separating from the radiator. Not a cause for concern if just that row and no leaks.

As said, not the end of the world, but showing signs of age, i would be thinking about replacing it, its not going to get any better.
Should be cheap enough for one of those.

If the car has air con, that will likely be the condenser rather than the radiator.

Thank you for the replies.

The car has actually got air conditioning, ridiculously neither me nor my wife realised it had for SIX YEARS into ownership because the button isn’t very obvious. My brother got into the car one day and casually turned it on, I was flabbergasted.
