Hi, in your opinion are the headlight lens repairable i.e., will the crazing and the chip/damage, polish out?

Hi Shezbo, our valeter has polished them up as good as he can get them. The micro cracks and mottled area is only on the black fadeout edge of the headlights. Replacing the headlights for this would be hugely excessive. A good option would be a pair of headlight covers/protectors (see link below)
these will protect your headlights and they have black fadeout edge to cover the mottled areas.

From what I can see, the heated seat buttons are missing on this one...

The headlight ‘covers/protectors’ you have linked are not that. They are replacement for the lenses. One company online will do the swap at the cost of about £700. Those are not a job to ‘have a go’ at.

Hi
Do you think the stone chips (in the images they look pretty bad?) on the sides by the air intake pods and front bumper - can be touched in? If they need painted that info would be good to know?

Also as several have asked - does the car have heated seats, please confirm. Thanks

Hi, It appears that there may be some fluids leaking. Can you confirm if this is the case and if so what it is, please?

Hi all, sorry for the late reply to your questions.
This car does not have heated seats.
There are some chips on the front end and some typical road rash around the intakes. None of it is bad.
When we serviced the car there were no leaks at all, can't quite tell what this is from the picture so I will get the car back on the ramp to inspect and will report back.
Thanks,
Matt

6 month warranty is with Porsche or Zuffenhaus or 3rd party insurance product? When is the car going up on the ramp and report back? Thanks

Can you put the photo of the inside page of Service Book, showing supplying dealer and the important option codes sticker, as this car appears to not have the important PASM option, code 475. Thanks

Hi all, we got it up on the ramp today and it is completely dry, no leaks at all. I have attached some pictures below. Can only imagine it was residual water after being washed.
More pictures to follw

Hi JJ77, the warranty is with a via Warranty First.
I’ll try to upload the inside page of the service book tomorrow. No PASM on this one I’m afraid.
Thanks
Matt

PASM or no PASM is a funny one !

I spent over 18 years working with Porsche and the last decade buying the brand for main dealers. I can honestly say the lack of, or addition of PASM on a Boxster never really added value to the car overall.

If you speak to the driver consultants at Porsche Driving Experience Centre Silverstone, they believe the cars handling is best as standard and on most Porsche models they never adjust the PASM when driving spiritedly on the track.

It certainly has its purpose on larger models like Cayenne, Panamera and Taycan, but not so much on Boxster and Cayman.

As with anything its down to individual preference of course but I certainly didn't think less of any Boxster or Cayman in desirability or value for re-sale for not having the option fitted.

Good luck with your bidding everyone.

Thank you Matt, that’s the page I wanted but it’s not showing the options… but you have already confirmed that it doesn’t have PASM. David, all good points, but where I live you need it especially with the car riding on the 20” Wheel option, Boxster or not.
